PWWG Volunteers at Global LinksJanuary 27, 2010
Participating in our community is important to our practice. This year, in lieu of a holiday party, PWWG elected to stage two “Service Soirees,“ volunteering as a group at Global Links in Pittsburgh to prepare shipments of medical supplies for distribution in areas of the world in desperate need. This is a hands-on contribution at an especially critical time as Global Links teams with UPMC, Hospital Albert Schweitzer, and others to speed medicines, supplies and equipment to Haitian doctors treating victims of the January 12th earthquake. The organization has a long-term commitment to improve health in the countries it serves.
